My Equipment

For those of you out there who are interested in photography, I want to share with you what camera and lenses that I use to capture my images.

When I first started with wildlife photography on our trip to South Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique I used at Canon 350D with the standard kit lenses plus a Sigma 50-500m f4-6.3. A great beginners SLR which I got some great pictures with. Some of which are on this site. I also used the same kit in Botswana teh following year.

Since then I've upgraded to the Canon 50D and the Sigma 50-500m is still my favourite lens for wildlife photography.

I've also invested in a few other lenses such as the Sigma 10-20mm f2.8 wide angle, the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 which provides a wide aperture through the whole range and the Canon 17-50 f2.8. The latter is the lens I use the most for general photography.
